48 years ago today, Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin filmed a figure that resembles a Bigfoot in California.

Back in the 60's, "Abominable Snowman" was more of a well-known term than "Bigfoot." Times have changed.

Regardless of where you fall on the skepticism spectrum, today we celebrate the most compelling evidence of the American Abominable Snowman. Either that, or the biggest hoax - take your pick!
